Kensington Roof Gardens Review – Things to do in London

A few months ago I received an invite to an event at ‘Kensington Roof Gardens’ and in all honesty, it was not a venue I had heard of before. Once I checked out the website, I knew I was going to be in for a treat!
Upon arriving at the building on Kensington High Street, it still felt a little strange that several storeys up is a hidden eden. The first area that I entered was the Spanish garden.

This was by far my favourite part, you really feel as though you have been transported to the Alhambra and kind of forget about the hustle and bustle on the streets below.

Lunch was served in the quirky Tudor garden, separated into three courtyards by archways filled with hanging plants. Finally, a trip to meet the famous flamingos in the English Woodland garden!

This truly was a day to remember and I would recommend the venue to anyone. As long as there are no events on, the gardens are open to the public.
